Can I pay a penny for your thoughts ?
Although I’m willing to sacrifice a bit more.
If the answers soothe a soul
Can I invade your space ?
Get a chance to look deep into your eyes
Maybe I’ll finally find the one key from the thousands I hold
Maybe end the trials
I tried to borrow Shakespeares’s pen,
To caress these pages with both ink and words
Yet my palms shiver and I’m unable to pen down
Maybe I should have learnt from Da Vinci
I could have used his lines and stroke and who knows you’d have been the Monalisa only this time it would be YOU , I guess I’d have given Chronos a run for his time.
So I toss my penny into a wishing well
And wish upon a star that one day out of a thousand words
I find the right ones that call out your name .
I’ll find ways to immortalize you, give the world reasons to love you as much I do.
