I’d give the world if it was mine to give
Walk on coal to rid you off your fears
Thread a way through Daedalus labyrinth.
Tip the scales of Anubis to grant safe passage
And when I’m asked I’d tell them
It’s a tiny price to pay to exist in your timeline
But I’d also add like a toddler without burdens I’m allowed to daydream and like a beggar ride
And when asked why ?
I’d say How do I ?
When there’s one who’s existence shines beyond a million light year
I bet when she smiles the sun bows, her fire lighting up your universe
I bet when she lays in your arms the waves calm,
a birthright for Poseidon’s descent .
I bet you don’t just see a rainbow when she’s it’s embodiment
And I bet what I offer would hold no weight when
Like me you’d do same for her.
Someday, someone will love me as much as I deserve to be loved. I wished it was you but I guess I have to make peace with knowing it will never be .
